Clemson Men’s Soccer Team Participates in Community Event

May 30, 2012

On Saturday, May 19, the Clemson men’s soccer team partnered with Tri-County Soccer Club and Prime Line Communications to help raise money for improvements at the Hurricane Park and Wren Elementary School soccer fields. Members of the team ran with the kids in the one-mile fun run. Following the run, they volunteered their time assisting Director of Soccer Operations Brian Cronin in hosting a free soccer clinic for students ages 4-10.

Cody Mizell, Andrew Tarbell, Ara Amirkhanian and Phanuel Kavita helped facilitate many fun and interactive soccer games for the kids, including a ball-juggling contest. The student-athletes enjoyed having the opportunity to interact with many local fans and further support the soccer community in Clemson.
