Clemson, S.C.—Clemson is ranked eighth in the latest Sagarin computer poll  released this week.  It is the highest ranking in the four-year history of the program.  The previous best was a No. 10 ranking during the 2013-14 season.

Kelly Hester’s team finished third out of 12 teams at the Schooner Fall Classic in Oklahoma last week in the season opening event.  The Tigers finished behind No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Florida State at that event, but defeated then No. 4 Iowa State.

The Tigers begin play in the 21-team Cougar Classic this Sunday in Hanahan, S.C.
