“I was very pleased with our play,” said Clemson Head Coach Phil Hindson. “We played with a lot of confidence tonight. Mike Mattson makes a big difference up front. With his maturity and experience, he will help us a lot this season. Our attitude has been excellent in preseason. The team has a very positive attitude. We need to work on a few areas such as our transition defense. Their goalkeeper (Leonardo Berenguel) played a great game. Southern Wesleyan is a good team, they were a good test for us. We are continuing to make progress. I thought we had good movement overall with our attacking players in tonight’s match,” said Hindson.
