Where: Chestnut Hill, Mass.

CLEMSON, S.C. –  The Clemson men’s tennis travels to Notre Dame on Friday, April 21 and Boston College on Sunday, April 23 for the final two regular season matches of the 2017 season. Seeding implications are on the line as the 2017 ACC Tournament begins on Wednesday, April 26 in Rome, Ga.

The Tigers look to end the season on a high note with two victories that could earn them a first round bye in next week’s ACC Tournament. Notre Dame is currently on a three-match losing streak, and Boston College is on a five-match losing streak looking for their first ACC win since 2015. The duo of Daffra Sanon and Sam Edwards remain ranked in the top 40 of the ITA doubles rankings.

Scouting Notre Dame

  • The Fighting Irish are led by Josh Hagar who is currently ranked No. 67 in the ITA singles rankings
  • Hagar and doubles partner Eddy Covalschi are ranked No. 37 in the ITA doubles rankings.
  • Notre Dame’s last conference win was vs. Florida State when they upset the Seminoles in Tallahassee, 4-2.
  • Since 2014 Notre Dame is 2-1 against the Tigers. Clemson won in dramatic fashion last season, 4-3.

Scouting Boston College

  • Clemson leads the all-time series 14-1 over the Eagles.
  • Head Coach Scott Wilkins enters his 14th season at the helm of the Eagles. He also played at UNC Charlotte from 1990-1994.
