Clemson Baseball To Play Two Scrimmages This Weekend

CLEMSON, S.C.-Fans of the Clemson baseball team can get a sneak preview of the 2000 Tigers at two Purple vs. Orange scrimmages that are scheduled for this weekend at Beautiful Tiger Field. Head Coach Jack Leggett’s team will play the first scrimmage on Friday, October 1 at 3 p.m. and the second on Sunday, October 3 at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Last season, Clemson was three outs shy of making a trip to the College World Series. The Tigers finished the season with a record of 42-27 and were ranked 13th, 14th, and 16th in the three major final baseball polls (Collegiate Baseball, Baseball Weekly, Baseball America).
