FOX Carolina (WHNS-Gray Media) and Clemson Athletics have entered into an exciting new agreement that makes FOX Carolina the an Official Partner of Clemson Athletics beginning immediately and will result in Clemson fans getting unprecedented video access to all sports within the University.
Beginning August 26, “Monday Night is Clemson Night” on FOX Carolina, as each Monday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., 52 weeks a year, the station will shine a spotlight on Clemson Athletics. The programming includes 26 episodes of reimagined official coaches shows produced by FOX Carolina, live specials, and additional unique content produced by the athletic program’s EMMY Award-winning Clemson+ division, including original episodic content, talk shows and more. The full hour will be devoted to an all-access look at all Clemson sports—the athletes, the coaches and support staff, fans and Clemson’s entire national championship-winning athletic program. Gray Media’s Raycom Sports will also assist in the production of unique content weekly that Tiger fans will love.
The partnership kicks off Monday, August 26th with a live one-hour special previewing the season LIVE from Clemson, as the Tigers prepare for their big season opener against Georgia. For the entire football season, Coach Dabo Swinney’s show will be followed by additional original content from Clemson+.
As basketball season comes into focus, Men’s Basketball Coach Brad Brownell’s show will move into the 7 p.m. time slot. With this unique partnership, many Clemson Athletics’ programs, both men’s and women’s, will share the spotlight on Clemson Night.
Throughout the year, FOX Carolina and Clemson will work together on special live programming, serving Clemson fans with an inside look at their favorite teams at the biggest moments.
In addition to FOX Carolina broadcasting these shows, viewers outside the Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville-Anderson market will be able to watch as well. Gray Media’s new Palmetto Sports Network covering the entire state of South Carolina will carry the shows. Also, Gray’s Peachtree Sports Network will carry the coaches shows throughout the entire state of Georgia. Gray’s Digital FAST channels, the ACC Digital Network and Origin Sports will also carry the new offerings worldwide.
