Clemson Announces 2009 Baseball Television & Webcast Schedule

Clemson, SC – Clemson announced Thursday that five regular-season baseball games will be televised and 22 more will be available via live webcast through ACC Select in 2009. Therefore, a total of 27 Clemson regular-season baseball games will be on some form of live video in 2009.

Five games will be televised, two on Fox Sports Florida, two on CSS (Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast), and one on RSN (Regional Sports Network). Two games at Florida State, March 20 at 6:00 PM and March 22 at 1:00 PM, will be televised by Fox Sports Florida. The Georgia game at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on April 1 at 7:00 PM and Miami (FL) game at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on April 12 (12:00 PM) will be televised by CSS. The regular-season finale at N.C. State on May 16 at 1:00 PM will be televised by RSN.

The 16 home games to be shown on ACC Select are South Carolina (February 28, April 8), Wake Forest (March 13-15), Miami (FL) (April 10,11), Georgia Tech (April 24-26), Maryland (May 2-4), North Carolina-Wilmington (May 8,9), and College of Charleston (May 12). The six road games to be shown on ACC Select are North Carolina (March 6,7), Florida State (March 21), Virginia Tech (April 18,19), and N.C. State (May 14).

Clemson also announced Thursday that three 2009 baseball game start times have changed. The April 1 home game against Georgia will start at 7:00 PM (previously scheduled for 6:30 PM) and will be televised by CSS. The April 12 home game against Miami (FL) will start at 12:00 PM (previously scheduled for 1:00 PM) and will also be televised by CSS. Finally, the April 14 road game at Western Carolina will start at 6:00 PM (previously scheduled for 7:00 PM).
