Celebrating Our 2016 Senior Class

Celebrating Our 2016 Senior Class

The 2016 senior class has been instrumental in the process of turning around the Clemson women’s soccer program. The class brought the Tigers back to the NCAA Tournament in 2014, for the first time since 2007. In 2015, they earned a berth in the prestigious, then-just-four-teams, ACC Tournament, also for the first time since 2007. In four years, the class currently has 46 career wins and 23 career ACC wins.

Not only are these 13 seniors talented on the soccer field, but they also excel in the classroom, and have been active in the community, throughout their four (four and a half for some) years as Tigers.

There is still a lot of soccer left to be played for these seniors in 2016, but following Senior Day on Sunday, Oct. 23, in which the team came out as 2-1 victors over NC State, we want to take one more opportunity to thank Tori Andreski, Catrina Atanda, Emily Byorth, Gabby Byorth, Anna Davis, Abby Jones, Allie Kington, Jenna Polonsky, Paige Reckert, Kailen Sheridan, Katie Sprouse, Claire Wagner and Jenna Weston.

See the links above to relive Senior Day in videos and photos. See the Instagram posts below to find out what Clemson has meant to each of our 13 seniors, and what’s in store for them after collegiate soccer.

Gummy bears at halftime?!?! One of the many things we learned from Tori Andreski’s Senior Spotlight! #ClemsonFamily #SolidOrange
