Bryfczynski Named to All-ACC Academic Cross Country Team

Greensboro, NCSam Bryfczynski was named to the All-ACC Academic cross country team, the league announced Friday morning. The junior from Marietta, GA was named to the team for the second consecutive season. He was named to the 2006 all-academic squad alongside teammate Bryce Iverson.

Bryfczynski was Clemson’s most improved distance runner in the fall. He finished 25th at the ACC Championships, one year after placing 42nd in the league meet. Bryfczynski also placed in the top 35 at the Southeast Region Championships, which were held in Louisville, KY. Bryfczynski helped the Tigers to a fourth-place ACC finish and sixth-place finish in the region.

Bryfczynski was named to the Dean’s List in the fall semester as a computer science major. He is a three-time President’s List (4.0 GPA) honoree as well.
