AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week – Yana Koroleva

Yana Koroleva, Women’s Tennis, Sophomore, Moscow, Russia 

Koroleva earned a win against No. 12 Mary Anne Macfarlane of Alabama in Clemson’s 4-2 loss to the Crimson Tide. She trailed 5-1 in each set before roaring back for the victory in her straight-set win. Koroleva, ranked 32nd nationally, played No. 1 singles for the Tigers in both of their matches against top-25 competition.
