AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week – Rachel Regone

Rachel Regone, Women’s Swimming & Diving, Senior, Houston, TX

Regone helped lead the Clemson women’s swimming and diving team to wins over Florida Atlantic and LSU on Friday, January 2. The Tigers defeated the Owls by a score of 155-83 and the LSU Tigers by a score of 146-86 at the meet held in Boca Raton, FL. Regone finished first in two individual events and was a member of one first-place relay team to aid the Tiger effort.

Regone swam the freestyle leg of Clemson’ winning 400-medley relay team in the meet. She also took first place in the 50 free and the 100 free, with times of 23.48 and 51.64, respectively.
