Nathan Thornton, Men’s Soccer, Junior, Spring, TX

Thornton scored two goals including the game winner in the second overtime period to help the Tiger men’s soccer team to a 3-2 upset over seventh-ranked North Carolina on Saturday. The victory was Clemson’s second over a top-10 team this season, with both games being played at Historic Riggs Field. Thornton now has three goals and one assist on the year.
