Kim Ruck ran a personal-best 5K en route to winning the women’s individual championship at the Charlotte Invitational on Friday, October 2 at McAlpine Creek Park. Ruck, who won her first-ever individual title, led the women’s team to a runner-up finish at the meet. Ruck’s time over the 5K course, 17:02.4, was a personal best for the sophomore from Greer, SC.
