Rivers scored a game-high 28 points on Sunday to help lead the 25th-ranked Tigers to a 91-72 victory on the road over Miami in the team’s first conference game if the 2008-09 campaign. The 19-point win was Clemson’s sixth-largest margin of victory ever in an ACC road game. Rivers was 10-for-15 from the floor, and four-for-eight from three-point range, in the win.

Rivers averaged 17 points and six rebounds for the week, also helping Clemson to a 76-36 win over North Florida on Tuesday.
