Paulsen went 9-for-15 (.600) to lead Clemson to four wins in five games over two quality opponents (Elon, Boston College) this past week. He also totaled five runs, six RBIs, one double, two triples, one homer, five walks, one hit-by-pitch, one sacrifice bunt, a 1.133 slugging percentage, and .714 on-base percentage along with not committing an error in 46 chances in the field.
In his best game of the week, at Boston College in the second game of a doubleheader on March 28, he went 4-for-4 with a triple, three RBIs, and a walk. His two-run single in the ninth inning proved to be the difference in Clemson’s 5-3 win that clinched the series win. In the three-game series at Boston College, he was 6-for-10 (.600) with four runs, two triples, one homer, five RBIs, and three walks. On the season, he is hitting .396 with 21 runs, seven doubles, two triples, five homers, 25 RBIs, a .667 slugging percentage, and .465 on-base percentage in 25 games.
