AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week – Ben Martin

Martin was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Golfer of the Month for the month of February after recording a third-place individual finish at the Puerto Rico Classic. The red-shirt junior had scores of 71-69-66 to record a career-best score of 206, the low total by a Clemson golfer since 2004 when Jack Ferguson shot a 206 at the ACC Tournament.

Martin was the Tigers’ top golfer at the event, helping the team to a second-place finish behind number-one ranked Georgia. His score was the best among all ACC golfers at the tournament.
