2012 Men’s Basketball Senior Video Tribute

March 5, 2012

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson’s 2012 men’s basketball senior class was honored before and after last Thursday’s game against Virginia Tech, the final home game of the regular season for the Tigers. The class – Catalin Baciu, Bryan Narcisse, Tanner Smith and Andre Young – has played in 82 Clemson victories, 36 against ACC teams.

The class led the Tigers to three NCAA Tournament appearances in its first three seasons. In addition, this group produced four consecutive break even seasons in the ACC, finishing 9-7 their first three years and 8-8 this regular season. Clemson advanced to the semifinals of the ACC Tournament last season as well, with the help of this senior class.

The class has combined for 2,607 points, 994 rebounds and 699 assists in their careers. Two of its members, Smith and Young, led the ACC in steals per game (1.7) during the regular season. The two also rank among the top 11 steals leaders in Clemson history. Young is a member of Clemson’s 1,000-point club, while Smith is just 26 points shy of reaching the plateau.

The four seniors lead Clemson into the 2012 ACC Tournament this week at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA. The Tigers take on the Virginia Tech Hokies at 7:00 PM on Thursday in a game that will be televised by both the ACC Network and ESPNU.
