1V4 Solid at Head of the Charles

CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson’s First Varsity 4+ placed ninth out of 59 boats in the club final on Saturday to highlight the Tigers’ action from the 52^nd Head of the Charles, held in Cambridge, Mass., over the past two days. It was the fourth straight year Clemson posted a top-10 finish in the 1V4 club final.

The 1V4 produced a time of 19:56.37 over the course that runs on the Charles River. Clemson’s lineup consisted of Kasi Sweisford (coxswain), Amelia Shein, Amber Rewis, Claire Prevost and Rebecca Pulsifer.

The First Varsity 8+ followed Sunday in the championship final. Clemson came across the finish line in 28^th place, with a time of 18:50.33. The lineup consisted of Emily Goff (coxswain), Anna McLean, Julia Meredith, Ashley Robinson, Kaela Wilbur, Taryn Carroll, Cassidy Davidson, Lydia Hanewich and Megan Mars.
