WTPT ‘The Planet’ is new Greenville Home of Clemson Football

This fall, Clemson Tiger fans can catch all the football play-by-play action on Greenville’s WTPT 93.3 “The Planet.” Clemson Tiger Sports Properties, the rightsholder for Clemson Athletics announced this new affiliation today.

“We are excited that WTPT is a new home for Clemson Tiger football broadcasts,” said David Hubbard, General Manager of Clemson Tiger Sports Properties. “WTPT adds a big signal to our network, reaching tens of thousands of Clemson fans each week.

WTPT 93.3 FM will air all regular season and post-season football games beginning with the Tiger Tailgate Show and ending with the 5th Quarter Show. WTPT 93.3 FM will also air all 13 Tommy Bowden “Tiger Calls” coaches shows. “Tiger Calls” airs Thursday nights from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

“We are thrilled with our new relationship and that Clemson football is an integral part of ‘The Planets’ programming,” said John Shea, president and general manger of WTPT. “We’re the first active rock station in the Upstate to air Clemson Football and we think this heritage franchise will be a perfect fit for The Planet”.
