Women’s Track and Field Competes At UNC Blue Heaven Invitational

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s track and field team competed at the UNC Blue Heaven Track and Field Rumble this weekend in Chapel Hill. Gisele Oliveira led the Lady Tigers with a second-place finish among all competitors and a top finish among collegiate athletes in the triple jump. Oliveira recorded a provisional qualifying mark of 12.63m (41’5.25″).

Silja Ulfarsdottir recorded a time of 56.43 in the 400m to finish fourth among collegians while Perry Fields placed third among collegians with a time of 2:12.97 in the 800m. Clemson’s 4x800m relay team posted a fourth-place finish with a time of 10:05.86.

Antisha Anderson placed fifth in the pentathlon with 3,392 points.

The Lady Tigers return to action Feb. 1-2 at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, AR.
