CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s tennis is ranked 18th in Tuesday’s Fila/ITA Tennis poll. The Tigers dropped a trio of matches last weekend to top-15 teams at the USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championships to fall to 3-4 on the year.

Clemson has posted wins over Troy, Furman and Purdue this season and will play host to #29 Kentucky on Saturday at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.

The Tigers have been successful in doubles play so far in 2008, winning the point in five of their eight matches. The tandem of Estefania Balda and Ani Mijacika is 4-0 during the dual season while Clemson’s top team of Carol Salge and Federica van Adrichem owns a 6-2 overall record.
