The Clemson duo won 8-4 over Yvette Hyndman and Naoko Ueshima, the 30th-ranked team in the nation.

Ani Mijacika and Carol Salge then outlasted the Bulldogs’ tandem of Monika Dancevic and Kelley Hyndman at the top spot, edging the #30 team nationally, 9-8(3).

Georgia tied the match at 1-1 with a win at the number six singles position as Elsberry won by a 6-2, 6-0 margin over Gerber. Ueshima then gave her team the lead, defeating Salge at flight four (6-2, 6-1).
