Women’s Swimming Falls to Tennessee 133-110

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee women’s swimming team took a 133-110 win over the Clemson Tigers Friday at the Student Aquatic Center on the Tennessee Campus. Clemson freshman Cami Sink qualified provisionally for the NCAAs with a time of 4:22.02, winning the event and knocking two seconds off her time from last weekend.

Junior Jennifer Mihalik, a 1998 All-American, won the 200 back with a time of 2:02.28. Mihalik qualified provisionally last weekend in the event. The 400 medley relay team of Mihalik, Sink, Amy Suppinger and Kathy Lowry took first place with a time of 3:52.21. Clemson’s 400 free relay team of Wendy Henson, Meagan Davis, Nina Douglas and Lowry also took first place, finishing the race in 3:29.23.

The Clemson swimming teams will compete at the Nike Cup in Chapel Hill, NC, November 19-21.
