Women’s Soccer Blanks NC State, 4-0

CLEMSON, S.C.–Deliah Arrington scored two goals and had one assist, while teammate Beth Keller had one goal and one assist in leading 14th-ranked Clemson to a 4-0 win over N.C. State in a women’s Atlantic Coast Conference women’s soccer match at Clemson, SC Sunday afternoon.

Clemson freshman Heather Beem had two assists in the match.

With the win, Clemson improves to 12-4-1 overall 4-3 in the ACC. N.C. State falls to 6-8-2 overall, 1-4-2 in the ACC. The Lady Tigers are ranked 14th in the NSCAA poll and 15th in the Soccer America listing. This was the last regular season home match for the Lady Tigers this season. Clemson finishes the regular season at second ranked Florida on Sunday, October 31. The ACC Tournament will be November 4-7 at Chapel Hill, NC.

Arrington leads the team in scoring and now has nine goals and six assists for 24 points. Arrington is a freshman from Pawleys Island, SC.
