Charlottesville, VA – Clemson’s women’s team finished 10th in Saturday’s 30th annual ACC Cross Country Championships at the Panorama Farms course. Florida State captured the women’s team title with a total of 64 points. N.C. State was runner-up (102), while Boston College (106) finished third.
The Lady Tigers were led individually by freshman Jenna Baker, a Bellevue, OH native. She was 25th in her first-ever conference cross country meet. She has now led the team in four of the last five meets. Her 6K time Saturday was 22:14.5.
Laura Laughlin scored for the second straight season in the ACC meet. She was 45th place after crossing the finish line in a time of 22:55.7. Abby Iselborn, a freshman, was the team’s #3 finisher at 56th. Iselborn had a time of 23:16.8. Stephanie Buffo was a third first-year freshman to score Saturday for the Lady Tigers. The Spartanburg, SC native had a time of 23:32.3 and was 61st in the field of 91 harriers.
Sunday Ford concluded the team’s scoring with a 76th-place finish. She had a time of 24:12.3 and has scored in every meet for the Lady Tigers so far this season.
The Lady Tigers return to action on Saturday, November 10 for the Southeast Regionals in Louisville, KY.
