Women’s Cross Country Competes at ACC Championships

Tallahassee, FL – The Clemson women finished 12th at the ACC Cross Country Championships on Monday from Miccosukee Greenway. The team title was claimed by Duke with 20 points. N.C. State (91) edged out Wake Forest (104) and Boston College (106) for second place. North Carolina completed the top five with 128 points.

Leading the team for the fifth consecutive race this season was senior Jennifer Barton, who was 45th with a 6K time of 20:55.5. Patrice McMillan finished 66th overall at 21:41.7, while freshman Ashley Robinson was 75th overall at 22:14.4. Completing the scoring effort for the Lady Tigers were Thea Dix (87th), Casey Phillips, (89th), and Elizabeth Embler (90th) also competed for Clemson on Monday.

The Lady Tigers return to action on November 12 to compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship in Greenville, NC.
