CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Lady Tiger Basketball team will play N.C. State Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum.
The game will be a battle of two top 25 teams at Clemson is ranked 18th, and N.C. State is ranked 16th.
Clemson has a 10-3 record overall, and a 1-1 mark in the ACC. The Lady Tigers are coming off a 85-73 overtime loss to Maryland at College Park, MD Tuesday night. N.C. State has a 9-3 record overall and a 1-2 ledger in league play. N.C. State lost to Virginia 77-64 at Charlottesville, VA January 2.
Clemson is led in scoring by sophomore sensation, Chrissy Floyd. Floyd is averaging 17.3 ppg. Erin Batth leads the Lady Tigers in rebounding with a 8.4 rpg. mark. Carisse Moody leads the Wolfpack in scoring (14.4 ppg.) and rebounding (6.5 rpg.).
This will be the 57th meeting between the two schools on the basketball court. N.C. State leads the overall series 35-21. Clemson has won five of the last six meetings between the two schools.
