Volleyball Falls To Sixth-Ranked Georgia Tech, 3-1

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Clemson volleyball team fell to sixth-ranked Georgia Tech 3-1 (30-24, 27-30, 30-15, 30-26) on Saturday night in O’Keefe Gymnasium. The Tigers are 17-15 on the season and finish ACC regular season play with a 6-10 record, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 28-1 overall and 15-1 in league play.

Liz Beckham led all Tigers hitters with 17 kills, a .317 hitting percentage and 11 digs, while Ryane Beasley posted 16 kills, a .306 hitting percentage and led the team at the net with seven blocks. Lori Ashton added 12 kills and Leslie Finn recorded nine kills with five digs and three blocks. Carly Hill served up two aces, and Stephanie Haskell handed out 47 assists with 11 digs and two blocks for Clemson.

The Yellow Jackets were led by Lynnette Moster with 19 kills, a .317 hitting percentage and 12 digs, while Jayme Gergen tallied 16 kills with a match-best .577 hitting percentage. Marisa Aston led Georgia Tech in digs with 29 and Kele Eveland dished out 56 assists with eight kills, seven digs and two blocks for the Yellow Jackets.
