Volleyball Closes Out Road Slate at Virginia Tech Wednesday

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball team (15-14, 6-10 ACC) travels to Virginia Tech (14-15, 5-12 ACC) Wednesday for its final road contest of the 2018 season. Wednesday’s showdown, which is slated for 3 p.m. on ACC Network Extra, serves as a rematch as the Tigers got the best of VT in a sweep on Oct. 7 in Jervey Gym.

• Clemson dropped its latest match against Wake Forest last Friday in four sets (25-12, 13-25, 17-25, 19-25).
• Against the Demon Deacons, the Tigers were led by redshirt-sophomore Brooke Bailey who tallied a match-high 15 kills.
• Clemson’s 25-12 first-set win over Wake was the largest margin of victory in a single set this season.
• The Tigers six ACC wins this season is currently tied for the most conference victories since the 2014 season when Clemson went 6-12 in ACC play.
• The Tigers have won four of their last six matchups, dating back to Oct. 26 when they downed NC State in four sets.
• Clemson has won more ACC matches (6) this season than in 2015-17 combined (4).
