Athletic Highlight: Parkhurst was named the ACC’s Most Valuable Swimmer at the 2008 ACC Championships after rewriting Clemson and ACC record books at the conference meet held in Atlanta, GA last weekend. Parkhurst set the Clemson and ACC record in the 200 free, the ACC record in the 200 back and was part of the league record-setting 200 free relay team. She also won the 100 back and her 100 split in the 400 free relay was the second-best time in school history. In all, she took home three individual ACC titles and added a fourth in the 200 free relay. Parkhurst is only the second swimmer in Clemson history to win ACC titles in three different individual events.   Athletic Highlight: Greeley finished fourth in the championships pole vault at the Tyson Invitational, clearing 18′ 0″ for the second-straight week. His mark of 18′ 0.5″ placed him fourth overall and third among collegians at the prestigious meet. One week earlier at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet, Greeley recorded an NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 18′ 1″ to win the pole vault and move to number one in the national rankings for the event. The mark was a Clemson record and just a quarter of an inch shy of the all-time ACC indoor record for the event.
