Two Clemson Women’s Soccer Players to Participate on U.S. National Teams

Clemson, SC – Clemson women’s soccer players Lindsay Browne and Paige Ledford will each participate on U.S. National Teams this weekend in the West Coast Preseason Tournament in San Diego, California. Browne will play with the U-21 National Team while Ledford will participate with the U-19 team.

Browne, a rising junior, led the Lady Tigers in scoring last year and was named first-team All-ACC for the second straight year. Ledford, a rising sophomore, was second on the team in scoring and was a second-team All-ACC selection as a true freshman. The U-21s, led by head coach Jerry Smith, and the U-19s, led by former Clemson head coach Tracey Leone, will play matches against the San Diego Spirit and the San Jose CyberRays, as well as the U.S Amateur Team, and each other.
