Times Set For First Four Clemson Football Games

July 10, 2000

Clemson, S.C.-Times have been set for the first four Clemson football games of the 2000 season. The ESPN and ABC television networks have announced their schedule through September 23, which allows schools to determine gametimes for those dates.

On Monday, ABC announced that it would televise the Clemson at Virginia game at 3:30 PM. This will give Clemson two games on ABC in the first four games of the season. Earlier, ABC announced it would televise the Missouri game at 3:30 PM.

Earlier, Clemson announced that the season opener against The Citadel would be a 6:00 PM start. The Wake Forest game on September 16 has not been selected by a television network and will have a 1:00 PM start.

The rest of the Clemson schedule, including the Florida State game in Tallahassee on November 4, will be announced 12 days prior to the game. Some published reports have listed the Clemson vs. Florida State game as a 7:30 PM start. Neither ABC nor ESPN has made an announcement on that game as of yet.
