Tigers to Play Augusta in Exhibition on November 2

CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson men’s basketball program will take on Augusta University in an exhibition contest inside Littlejohn Coliseum on Thursday, November 2 at 7 p.m.

This will mark the first of two exhibition games that the Tigers will host. Clemson will host Tennessee on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 12:30 p.m. as part of a Hurricane Relief exhibition with all proceeds and donations benefitting the Salvation Army’s continued relief efforts.

Clemson returns two starters and eight lettermen off of the 2016-17 team that finished with a postseason berth in the NIT. Included in the list of returning lettermen is guard Shelton Mitchell who returns as the Tigers’ leading scorer (10.8 ppg) and guard Marcquise Reed who also returns as a double-digit per game scorer (10.0 ppg).

Forward Donte Grantham was named to CBS’s Jon Rothstein’s Top 20 Breakout Players for the 2017-18 season. Clemson also welcomes six newcomers to the squad.

The regular season opens on Friday, November 10 against Western Carolina University. Regular-season tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling 1-800-CLEMSON or visiting ClemsonTigers.com.
