Tigers Ranked top 15 Nationally

The Clemson women’s soccer team is ranked in the top 15 nationally in three major polls this week.

Soccer America has Clemson ranked 10th nationally, a jump of seven spots from last week after defeating 9th ranked South Carolina at Historic Riggs Field.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) ranked Clemson 13th in the country, the highest ranking since 2004. The Tigers moved up 10 spots in the NSCAA poll.

TopDrawerSoccer.com has the Tigers listed at number 15, climbing three spots since last week.

Clemson is on the road this weekend with a match on Friday, Sept. 4 in Athens, Ga. before traveling to Spartanburg, S.C. for a match against Wofford on Monday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. The Tigers return home Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 to face Penn at Historic Riggs Field. As always admission is free to all regular season home games.
