CLEMSON, SC – Head Coach Nancy Harris’ women’s tennis team moved up one spot to #13 in Tuesday’s Fila/ITA Tennis poll. The Tigers defeated then-ranked #12 Virginia Commonwealth by a 5-2 margin last week to improve to 5-1 on the year. Clemson will look for its fourth straight win on Friday afternoon as the Tigers will face the Furman Paladins in Greenville, SC.
Clemson was one of six ACC schools ranked among the top 25. Georgia Tech led the conference at #3, while North Carolina (#7) and Miami (#8) were also listed in the top 10. Duke was then 11th, followed by the Tigers at #13. Wake Forest rounded out the group at #20.
