Clemson Notes:

• The Tigers enter Head Coach Audra Smith’s fourth season with eight returning letterwinners, including four starters, and five newcomers.
• Clemson’s 2016-17 roster is made up of four juniors, five sophomores and five freshmen.
• Junior Nelly Perry is the Tigers’ returning leader in points (373) and points per game (14.3), and tied for the lead in blocks (15) and minutes per game (33.0).
• Sophomore Aliyah Collier is the returning leader in rebounds (179) and rebounds per game (6.0).
• Sophomore Danielle Edwards is the team’s returning leader in assists (84), steals (69) and minutes played (991), and tied for the lead in blocks (15) and minutes per game (33.0).
• The four returning starters for the Tigers are Collier, Edwards, Perry and junior Victoria Cardaci. Junior Alexis Carter and sophomore Sirah Diarra also return after playing significant minutes a season ago.

West Alabama Notes:

• West Alabama finished the 2015-16 season with a 9-17 overall record, and a 6-16 mark in the Gulf South Conference.
• Senior Ariel Wilson is the Tigers’ leading returner, after averaging 15.9 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game a season ago.
• Wilson earned All-Gulf South Conference Second Team honors as a junior in 2015-16.
