Tigers Fall To Texas, 5-2

AUSTIN, Texas – The 12th ranked Texas Longhorns defeated 29th ranked Clemson 5-2 in men’s tennis on Sunday afternoon. Josh Goffi, playing at number-one singles, and Tomasz Boniecki, playing at number-two singles, were the only two Tigers to win singles matches. In doubles, the team of Goffi and Darren Knight won their match at the number-one position. Their win was the only win out of three doubles matches for the Tigers. The loss droped Clemson to 7-5 on the season while Texas improved to 7-2. Clemson’s next match will be at home on Friday March 10 against Florida State. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00 P.M.
