Tigers Defeat Florida State, 4-0

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson scored four second half goals and Tatum Clowney picked up two assists as the Lady Tigers defeated Florida State 4-0 in an Atlantic Coast Conference women’s soccer match at Clemson, SC Friday night.

With the win, Clemson improves to 6-3 overall, 1-2 in the ACC, while Florida State falls to 4-5 overall, 0-3 in league play. This broke a three-match losing streak for the Lady Tigers.

Beth Keller, Jennifer Crawford, Deliah Arrington, and Alison Burpee all scored for the Lady Tigers in the game. Deliah Arrington and Beth Keller both have four goals each this season to lead the Tigers in scoring.

The Lady Tigers outshot the Seminoles 25-1 and had more corner kicks (7-1).

Clemson will play Nebraska Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Lady Tigers’ next action.
