ATHENS, GA – Jennifer Meador finished fourth in the 1500m to highlight competition for the Clemson women’s team at the Georgia Invitational on Saturday.
Meador ran 4:42.06 in her fourth-place finish. Breeda Willis of Reebok won the event in a time of 4:11.81. Helena Janecic finished 10th in the 800m in a time of 2:20.60.
Joana Costa was the only other Tiger to compete this weekend for the women. She cleared 10-6 to finish seventh in the pole vault and then leapt 37-5 3/4 for a sixth-place finish in the triple jump.
Clemson will host the annual Orange & Purple Classic Saturday and Sunday at the Rock Norman Track Complex.
