For the second consecutive year and third time in four years, the Clemson-Georgia rivalry was decided by a field goal in the game’s final seconds. Clemson’s David Treadwell, who booted a 46-yard game-winner as time expired the previous year, did it to Georgia again. This time, all the Tigers needed was a 21-yard field goal for the victory.
