CLEMSON, SC – Orders are now being accepted for the 2002 NCAA Tournament regional to be held at Clemson beginning on Friday. Reserved, all-tournament passes are $60, single session reserved seats are $10 and general admission tickets are $7. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-CLEMSON.
Tournament passes can be paid for with cash, check, Mastercard and Visa. Single session tickets will be available beginning Thursday or they can be purchased at the stadium gates with cash or check. All checks should be made payable to the Clemson University Athletic Department. Tournament passes will not be mailed out and can be picked up from the ticket office beginning Wednesday. Passes will be moved to the third base gate beginning on Friday.
Second seed East Carolina and third seed Elon will begin the double-elimination tournament at 2:00 PM on Friday with top seed Clemson and fourth seed Georgia Southern taking the diamond at 7:00 PM. Saturday’s games will be at 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 7:00 PM. Sunday’s championship game will begin at 2:00 PM and, if necessary, a second championship game will be played 50 minutes after the completion of the first game.
