Tim Match

Tim Match, a native of Arlington, OH, is responsible for implementing the athletic department’s sports marketing, sponsorship, and licensing.

Match became an assistant sports information director at the University of Virginia, where he worked with many sports, including Terry Holland’s NCAA Tournament men’s basketball program that reached the Final Eight of the 1989 NCAA Tournament. Match returned to Clemson in 1989 as an associate sports information director working directly with the Tiger men’s basketball program and the football program. He held that position for three years before moving into an assistant athletic director position.
