Spring Game Most Valuable Players

Offensive Player of the Game Woodrow Dantzler, QB Junior Woodrow Dantzler broke his own record of 220 passing yards in the spring game with 237 yards on Saturday. The Orangeburg, SC native was 22-of-34 with one touchdown and one interception. Dantzler’s scoring pass was a 25-yard connection to Joe Don Reames in the first quarter of the scrimmage. Dantzler also had 25 yards on 10 carries, that included a 6-yard touchdown run.

Defensive Player of the Game Nick Eason, DE Sophomore Nick Eason earned defensive MVP honors with a five tackle performance that included a seven-yard sack. Eason also had a game-high three passes broken up.

News
