2006: Caught a 32-yard touchdown pass in the Music City Bowl against Kentucky; that was his first career touchdown and the only touchdown catch by a Tiger tight end in 2006; he received the opportunity when Thomas Hunter suffered a broken foot during a bowl practice; Barry played 30 snaps in making his first career start in that game...played 125 snaps in nine games...had a nine-yard catch in the win at #9 Florida State...solid blocker who had 10 knockdown blocks...saw his most action against North Carolina when he totaled 26 plays...had an 88-percent grade for 17 plays in the win over #13 Georgia Tech.

Before Clemson: Athletic all-around athlete who played quarterback for Fork Union Military Academy in 2004; was injured in the second game of the season and played in only three games...completed 16 of 25 passes for 257 yards and four touchdowns at Fork Union...rushed five times for 100 yards and a touchdown at Fork Union...#33 tight end in the country by both SuperPrep and Scout.com...had 66 receptions for 1,126 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior at Fort Dorchester High School in Summerville, SC in 2003...averaged 17.1 yards per punt return with a long return of 95 yards...prep school teammate of fellow Tigers Phillip Merling and Elsmore Gabriel...coached by Steve LaPrad at Fort Dorchester High and J.C.
