Overview: One of the top walk-ons in recent years; he has a chance to see significant playing time in 2008...showed his improvement again this spring when he had two catches for 33 yards in the Spring Game, including a 32-yard reception from Michael Wade...in his third year in the program; he red-shirted 2006 and played all 13 games in 2007, including 11 at wide receiver...can catch the ball, but also helps the running game with his downfield blocking...played 109 snaps on offense in 2007 and had 16.5 knockdown blocks, or a knockdown every 6.6 snaps...named most improved walk-on among offensive players by the coaches for the 2008 spring practice.

Before Clemson: Wide receiver, free safety, and returned punts at Cheraw High School, the same high school that produced former Tiger All-America punter Dale Hatcher...totaled 10 total touchdowns and 26 receptions for 489 yards as a senior...had 48 tackles, three recovered fumbles, and three interceptions to help Cheraw High to a 12-3 record and its first Lowerstate title in 11 years...made the South Carolina High School Sports Report AA All-State team and was all-region as a junior...member of Cheraw High's state championship baseball team as a junior...majoring in history...born Jul. 25, 1987.
