Came on late in the 2015 season to become the starting DH and saw action as the DH in 2016 … was a primary starter as the DH in 2017 and played catcher in 2015 and 2016 … was the primary DH in 2018 and has played left field … hit the ball to all fields … a career .257 hitter with a .359 on-base percentage in 166 games (100 starts) over four seasons … had 21 doubles, two homers, 52 RBIs, 66 runs, 66 walks, a hit-by-pitch and six steals … became Clemson’s first lefthanded-hitting catcher since Brian Ellis (1997-00) … two-time ACC Academic Honor Roll member.

2018: Hit .228 with 18 runs, six doubles, a homer, 17 RBIs, a .341 on-base percentage, 25 walks, a hit-by-pitch, five sacrifice bunts and three steals in 50 games (42 starts, including 29 as the DH and 13 in left field) … tied for the team lead in sacrifice bunts (5) … went 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI, two runs and two walks against Furman on Feb. 20 … hit a team-high .440 with three doubles, seven RBIs and a .563 on-base percentage in eight February games … hit a team-high .318 with a .455 on-base percentage in 18 games as an outfielder … went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs against No. 10 Dallas Baptist on Feb. 23 … walked in the ninth inning and scored the walkoff run from first base on Drew Wharton’s triple against No. 23 South Carolina on March 4 … went 1-for-2 with a homer and two walks at Coastal Carolina on March 20 … hit a three-run double against Boston College on March 29 … went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run against Boston College on March 30.

2017: ACC Academic Honor Roll member … hit .280 with 26 runs, nine doubles, a homer, 15 RBIs, a .371 on-base percentage, 16 walks and two steals in 40 games (26 starts, including 17 as the DH and nine at catcher) … hit .314 in ACC regular-season games … hit .361 as the catcher … hit .345 with two outs … was 10-for-20 with 10 runs in six February games … had 10 multiple-hit games … went 2-for-3 with a double, three runs and a walk against Western Carolina on Feb. 22; was his first career start at catcher … singled and came around to score the walkoff run on Seth Beer’s two-out single in the 13th inning against Elon on Feb. 24; was the catcher for the entire game, as three Clemson pitchers (Charlie Barnes, Ryley Gilliam, Brooks Crawford) combined to set a school record with 23 strikeouts … went 3-for-3 with an RBI, three runs and a walk against Elon on Feb. 25 … went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and two runs against Virginia Tech on April 7 … went 2-for-3 with two RBIs against Virginia Tech on April 9 … hit two doubles with an RBI at No. 25 Florida State on April 15 … went 2-for-2 with a pinch-hit homer and two runs at Florida State on April 17; was his first career homer … went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run at No. 3 North Carolina on April 29.

2016: ACC Academic Honor Roll member … hit .217 with 10 runs, three doubles, 12 RBIs, a .339 on-base percentage, 18 walks and one steal in 51 games (20 starts as the DH) … made the team’s most starts as the DH … played a team-high 31 games off the bench … hit .265 with a .393 on-base percentage in 24 ACC regular-season games … hit .292 with a .407 on-base percentage in 29 home games … hit a pinch-hit, run-scoring, walkoff single in the ninth inning against Winthrop on March 9 … went 3-for-4 with an RBI, a run and steal against No. 9 NC State on May 6 … went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs off the bench against College of Charleston on May 10 … played for Florence in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he hit .256 with 23 runs, six doubles and 23 RBIs in 39 games.

2015: Hit .351 with 12 runs, three doubles, eight RBIs, a .422 on-base percentage and seven walks against only six strikeouts in 25 games (12 starts as the DH) … was 4-for-10 (.400) as a pinch-hitter and 5-for-13 (.385) in 13 games off the bench … hit a pinch-hit single in his first career plate appearance against Maine at Augusta, Ga. on Feb. 20 … hit a pinch-hit single against Winthrop on March 3 … came off the bench, hit a run-scoring single and scored a run at NC State on March 8 … hit a pinch-hit, run-scoring double to tie the score in the sixth inning against Georgia on April 7 … hit a pinch-hit single and scored a run at Georgia Tech on April 25 … went 1-for-3 with the go-ahead run in the fifth inning and a walk against No. 18 College of Charleston on May 6; was his first career start … went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs, two runs and a walk against Georgia Southern on May 8 … went 2-for-5 with two runs and a walk at Furman on May 12 … went 2-for-4 with a run and walk at No. 8 Florida State on May 16 … went 2-for-4 with an RBI against No. 3 Louisville in the ACC Tournament on May 21 … went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run against Pepperdine in the Fullerton Regional on May 30 … played for Wilson in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he hit .265 with 13 runs, three doubles, 13 RBIs, 32 walks and a .406 on-base percentage in 40 games.
