March 17, 2005

Carolinas Sports Entertainment Television (C-SET) will broadcast the second game of No. 9-ranked North Carolina’s Atlantic Coast Conference series at Clemson at 4 p.m. Saturday. This telecast will mark the first of two regular season Tiger games to be broadcast this season. The Clemson-NC State matchup on April 23 will also be broadcast on CSET.

The game can be seen in the Triganle on Time Warner Digital Cable channel 140. C-SET is scheduled to broadcast 10 college baseball games from schools across the Carolinas this season.

“The Carolinas have a wealth of strong college baseball programs, and we’re proud to showcase the best of them on C-SET,” said Naomi Travers, executive vice president of media rights and entertainment for C-SET, which launched in October as the Carolinas’ first regional sports network. “We hope their appearances on C-SET are a step on the road to the College World Series in Omaha.”

C-SET is home to the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats and the WNBA’s Charlotte Sting, plus college football, college basketball, college basketball, minor league baseball and original programming.
