Saturday’s Baseball Game vs. South Carolina Sold Out

CLEMSON, SC – Saturday’s baseball game at Doug Kingsmore Stadium between Clemson and South Carolina has been sold out, Assistant Athletic Ticket Manager Bobby Skelton announced Tuesday.

The Tigers are 5-3 this season and are ranked as high as 13th (by Collegiate Baseball and Baseball Weekly/ESPN) in the nation while the Gamecocks are 12-0 and enter the weekend home-and-home series ranked as high as fourth (by Collegiate Baseball). The two teams will play again Sunday at Sarge-Frye Field in Columbia at 1:30 PM. First pitch for Saturday’s game at Clemson will be at 3:00 PM.

Clemson leads the overall series with South Carolina 148-99 and is 12-4 in the last 16 meetings between the two rivals.

Clemson students, faculty and staff will still be admitted with a valid university ID. Tickets still remain for Clemson’s game on Wednesday with Furman at 3:00 PM.

The Saturday game will be broadcast by the Clemson Tiger Network and the Sunday game will be broadcast solely by WGOG-FM (96.3) in Walhalla. Wednesday’s game vs. Furman will be on WCSZ-AM (1070) in Greenville.
