Rowing to Compete at Head of the Hootch

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson rowing team will travel to Gainesville, GA to compete in the Head of the Chattahoochee this Saturday on Lake Lanier. The Tigers will see teams from across the region and country. ACC rival Duke University, Emory, Berry, Central Florida, University of Miami, Jacksonville, Texas, Murray State College of Charleston, University of the South and Tennessee-Chattanooga are all scheduled to compete.

Clemson will have a total of ten boats compete in this year’s race and will participate in five events. The Tigers will have one boat in the novice 4+ and two in the novice 8+. Two boats will compete in the open pairs and three will race in the varsity 8+ race. Clemson will also have two boats in the varsity 8+ event.
