Rowing Competes in Head of the Charles

BOSTON, MA – The Clemson rowing team competed in the 40th annual Head of the Charles regatta on Sunday. The Tigers finished 30th out of 42 boats in the Championship 8+ race. The event was won by ASR Nereus with a time of 12:06.663. Coming in second place was Princeton University at 12:08.312. Yale finished third with a time of 12:14.516.

The Clemson boat finished 30th with a time of 13:18.746. The Tigers’ best previous finish in the Head of the Charles was 20th in the 2001 regatta.

Clemson will next compete in the Head of the Tennessee regatta on Saturday, October 30. It will mark the third time in Clemson history that the Tigers will compete in the event.
